Fabian Troeppner

Fabian Troeppner is a Partner and co-founder of Apirion, an independent strategy and M&A advisory firm focused exclusively on the insurance industry. His work sits at the intersection of strategy and transactions, shaped by deep sector knowledge and relationships across insurers, insurance distribution, private equity, family offices and the wider European insurance market.

Before founding Apirion, Fabian was an Associate Partner at MarshBerry, the insurance brokerage M&A advisory arm of Lincoln International, one of the leading global mid-market investment banks. Together with Dr. Fabian Seul and David Kuprasch-Sras, he was responsible for establishing and developing MarshBerry’s DACH business. Earlier in his career, Fabian was an Engagement Manager in EY-Parthenon’s Insurance Strategy & Transactions practice, where he advised international insurance groups, independent brokers and private equity investors on corporate and growth strategy, M&A strategy and commercial due diligence.

Fabian holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in business from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.
